Regardless of how many he is instructing, each person in the class feels like he or she has just received a personal training session. Glenn’s “non-traditional” workouts are great because they eliminate the biggest challenges I’ve historically faced with staying motivated, which are boredom and reaching plateaus. First, his creativity and imagination mean that there will usually be something different which keeps things interesting. Equally important is the fact that his ability to change things up means the physical challenge changes, which has served to keep my fitness level increasing, without leveling off as much as it did in traditional workouts.
I’ve worked out pretty consistently most of my adult life. During the past two years working out with Glenn, my fitness level is higher than ever. In particular, my flexibility and my core strength are much better than they were before. These improvements made the difference in my running a negative split (and a personal best) in the Hartford Half Marathon last fall.
From a psychological standpoint, Glenn’s program is great. Not only do you get a great workout, but you feel part of a community. The creativity of the workouts and the opportunity to connect with other “peak performance trainees” are things I look forward to.

The workouts at TCS/Inner Kur are absolutely the best group exercises I have ever been a part of. By integrating elements of plyometrics, weight and band resistance, core strengthening and aerobic conditioning you have created an innovative, focused, fun and effective work out method of conditioning. This combined with the one on one attention you are able to render to each student due to the limited group size further enhances each workout's overall effect. Hard to imagine getting more benefit and trainer attention out of an hour's work out.

I enjoy the "untraditional workout style" because each part of the workout can be modified to each person's ability/fitness level. It is like getting a personal workout in a group setting. I may not always appreciate being challenged to do the more complex or harder workout at a station but it feels good after when I have accomplished it.
I am probably in the best shape of my life in terms of my overall physical strength. My balance is much better than it has ever been due to the constant work on engaging the core and I have toned abs!! Coming to class not only makes me feel better physically, but it is also great for my mental well being as a de-stressor. When I am working out that is my sole focus for the 45-60 minutes and then I find I can deal with the other issues in my life with a better frame of mind.

What I find most appealing with Glenn's untraditional style of working out is the unexpected! I never know what challenges he's going to lay out for us each day. It's always something different, fresh, effective, and most importantly for me, fun! His workouts truly are personal training, but you just happen to be working out alongside a group of your contemporaries, who, over time, have become good friends of yours! He can train a group of say, 12 women, and during a class, tweak exercises to accommodate a client not as fit, or a client coping with a minor injury, or intensify an exercise to challenge the fittest of the group, all effortlessly and seamlessly.
I get what I want and what I need in Glenn's one-hour class. I truly look forward to going to work out each day, and always walk out happy that I went.
It's changed my life! I tell everyone that. I had the classic, a-ha Oprah moment when I saw photos of myself at the beach after having two children. I immediately went to check out Glenn's studio because he was a casual acquaintance of mine and I thought I'd start there in looking for a place to get fit. I didn't look anywhere else. I tried several class for free and was instantly hooked. From the first day, I found his training unintimidating, supportive and motivating. Glenn is extremely knowledgeable in what he does and believes in his clients' potential, even if they might not believe it themselves. Over a short period of time, I lost weight and became the fittest I'd ever been in my life, which of course, made me proud of myself and as cliche as it sounds, made me believe that I could accomplish anything. I took up running, completed numerous 5K races and went on to train for several half marathons and even a full marathon. In addition, I started swimming and completed several sprint triathlons. I credit Glenn for all of that. Had I worked out anywhere else, I know that much of my accomplishments would never even been a possibility. And I certainly wouldn't have dreamed I could do it!
